Travel Must-Have: Clothes
This is one aspect all of us have trouble in. While you want to stay fashion-forward on your trip, most can’t really afford to lug around a huge bag. To make your life easier, coordinate your clothes way ahead of time. Choose one color palette and work your wardrobe around that. This will make it easier for you to mix and match when you’re already there. Also, make sure you bring clothes you can “repeat”. Don’t forget to pack underwear. Pack extra undies so you won’t have an emergency once you’re already there. Another tip: wear your biggest, bulkiest, heaviest clothes on the plane. This way, you’ll have more space inside your bag for other essentials.
Travel Must-Have: A Complete Grooming Kit
Don’t bother bringing your toiletries. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and even lotion can be bought at almost any place, anywhere. For men, depending on the length of your stay, razors, cologne or perfume, and deodorant are necessary. Women usually bring make-up kits with them to stay dolled up during the vacation. Be wary of packing a lot of make-up. Invest in all-in-one make up kits so you don’t have to lug around a huge kit. Further, don’t forget to bring tampons or napkins just in case you have your period during the trip. Lip balm is always a smart thing to do, whether you’re a man or a woman, because lips tend to get chapped on airplane rides.
